Motorcycles
HONDA Custom Four are simple and reliable
motorcycles - just what is needed in this part
of the world. They have a single cylinder, four
stroke engine with six gears and electric start.
They have enough horses galloping to compare
with Enfield Bullets. Only that these are modern
concept bikes with tubeless tires, alloy wheels,
front and rear disc brakes and crash bars.
Motorcycles will handle well on dirt roads of
Cambodia being light and responsive, and having
a long wheelbase they will give you a
comfortable ride on Thai highways. They are very
economical at less than 3l/100 km (100mpg) and
"rider friendly", therefore particularly popular
among older riders and ladies. We supply open
face helmets, light gloves and cushion for
pillion, but if you are more comfortable with
your own - bring them along. Since you will pack
your clothes into panniers we supply PVC bags
(dust protection)
Luggage
Each motorcycle is fitted with detachable and
lockable GIVI panniers. Two side 33 litre and
one 29 litre top pannier for two persons or two
side 33 litre panniers for single rider, provide
enough luggage space during the tour. We do not
use support vehicle on our tours as it takes
away the adventure spirit from motorcycle
touring. Your suitcases and any items not needed
on the tour, remain deposited in the hotel where
you will spend your first and last nights .We
shall assist you to parcel and post any shopping
during the tour to the base hotel.
Insurance
Our motorcycles are governed by bylaws of the
GENERAL INSURANCE ASSOCIATION OF THAILAND. The
third party liability insurance has a limited
ceiling. The property damage ceiling is Baht 3
million. There is no other insurance coverage
included or implied. For the motorcycle itself ,
there is CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) included
in the cost of the tour.
Clients' comments

"Bikes were excellent, ideal size for the tour.
Couldn't fault anything at all, thoroughly
enjoyed it." wrote TRIUMPH bike owner.
*
"You do not need the latest plastic bullet and
stupid grin on your face to enjoy motorcycle
touring. Honda bikes were very rider friendly.
Great touring holiday" said BMW rider.
* "One last
comment; the Honda bikes BJ uses are perfect for
Thailand. We often cruised at 100-110 kph, and
the bike still had the fire for passing.
Bottom line: without hesitation, I strongly
recommend BJ and Avalon" commented the rider
from USA
*"The bikes were great machines cruised at 105-115kph no problem very economical- enough grunt to carry me
the missus and 3 panniers up the mountains and down. And so long as the tyre pressures are set for the weight of two people and 3 panniers
then they handled like a dream"
wrote one of senior riders.
We had several HARLEY and PAN-EUROPEAN riders on
our tours and all agreed that bikes were a good
choice for the tour.
To add more comfort you can bring your air or
gel pad with you.
