Day Three - Tour of the South |

Jomtien Beach to Cha Am (ride) |

Your suitcases with items not needed will be deposited
at the hotel. After the breakfast we shall take the coastal
road in direction of Bangkok. We use easier route around
this big and congested city - we shall take a
ferry across Phraya river to avoid city centre. Between Bangkok
and Cha Am we shall stop twice. First to visit Khao Yoi caves
with Buddhist shrines (watch for thieving monkeys) and later we
shall take a Swiss style funicular to the top of the Khao
Wang hill to take a walk around king Monghut,s royal retreat
from 19th century. We shall arrive at our destination early
enough for a swim in the sea or the hotel pool. Besides
seafood, barbecued
pork is a local specialty in town. Accommodation with
