Day Seven - Tour of the South |
|
From Ko Samui to Krabi (ride) |
|
|
In the morning we shall take the ferry back to mainland and ride
South to Nakhon Si Tammarat first (100 km). There we shall turn
west through national parks where we shall enjoy winding roads
and great sceneries all the way to Krabi town.
For those
unfamiliar with the area of Krabi, it's a lot like Halong
Bay in Vietnam and Guilin in China - large karsts (limestone
formations) sticking out of the sea. It is one of most
attractive destinations in Southern Thailand. To the west,
it borders on the Andaman Sea with countless natural
attractions abound, including white sandy beaches,
fascinating coral reefs, numerous large and small islands,
and to the east on verdant forests with caves and waterfall.
The area offers the best of the South. There is no need to
visit overcrowded and noisy and rip off places like Phuket
to see the best beaches. This place has lost its charm long
time ago and its natural beauty can
not compare to Krabi. Accommodation with breakfast in Krabi. |
