Day Nine - Tour of the South |

From Krabi to Khao Lak (ride) |
|

We shall visit Tam Suea temple just outside Krabi in the
morning. Beautiful forests with 600 years old trees and hermit
caves. The main hall is built into long shallow limestone cave.
Next to it are the stairs (1272) leading to the top of the
cliff with Buddha footprint. You are free to take a walk up
for a breathtaking panoramic view. In the afternoon a
boat tour around numerous islands of Pang Nga Bay including the
Scaramanga's hideout island from James Bond movie "The man with
golden gun".
The area around is geologically referred to as
a drowned land full of irregular limestone region with
sinks, underground streams, and caves. Over 40 islands of
this description rise some 300 meters or more out of the
milky brown grey water of the bay, creating one of the most
photogenic scenes in the world. Accommodation with breakfast in
